Our Story
How It All Began
Kiba started in the outdoors with my family. We'd be hunting with my brothers and dad, no cell service, just radios, and we'd split up. Half the time you couldn't tell where anyone was.
One trip we were out with my younger brother Luke. He was 12, had a really crappy radio, and decided to hunt off on his own. For hours we had no idea where he was. We finally got him on the radio and he was all the way back at the car, miles away. Another time I got separated from a buddy and we couldn't find each other for eight hours, just ended up meeting back at camp at the end of the day. Someone can be 100 yards away and you wouldn't know it. Things go sideways fast out there.
I needed a way to actually know where my group was on the mountain. That's what Kiba is: peace of mind so you can enjoy the outdoors without stressing about people getting lost.
