Never Lose Touch With Your Hunting Party Again

Think walkie-talkie range, because the Scout talks over radio waves. Expect 0.5 to 1 mile in hills and timber, 1 to 3 miles in open country, and 5+ miles with clear line of sight. Terrain, elevation, and obstructions all matter: ridgelines and open ground extend it, heavy timber and canyons shorten it. Every radio in your group also relays messages, so the more radios you carry, the farther your network reaches.

No to both. Kiba isn't satellite and needs no cell service or subscription plan. Satellite is great for reaching people back home or far away. Kiba is closer to a walkie-talkie: radio-to-radio between your group, but with real-time messaging and live location sharing instead of voice, and no pointing your phone at the sky. It's built for in-field communication with the people you're hunting with.

Yes, but range is shorter. Stay on higher ground when you can, and remember that every radio in the group extends the network, so a bigger party reaches farther.

Yes. Each person carries a radio and uses the Kiba Go app on their own phone.

Yes. Scouts are sold individually too, and every Scout works with every other Scout. If your buddies already have theirs, one radio with a year of Premium gets you on the same map.

No. A hunter on the free app can still text your group, see everyone on the map, and receive the waypoints you send. Premium adds offline map downloads, waypoint sending, group tracks, AR view, route planning and 3D maps. Plans are per person and never affect who can talk to whom.

Think of a walkie-talkie that sends data instead of voice. The Kiba Scout pairs with your phone and pushes your messages, location, and waypoints out over radio waves to the rest of your party. Every radio in the group also relays what it hears, so messages hop radio to radio to reach hunters beyond your own range. The more radios in your party, the farther your network stretches.

Each hunter gets one year of Kiba Go Premium included with their radio. It's granted through our own system, with no payment method on file, so there is no auto-renewal. After the year, keep Premium for $59.99 / year (or $7.99 / month) only if you want it. Otherwise the app keeps working on the free plan.

72 hours of continuous runtime, which works out to about 3 to 5 days of typical hunting use.

As many as you want. There is no limit on group size, as long as each person has their own radio. A bigger group also extends your range, since every radio relays for the others.

Yes. Kiba Go runs on both iPhone and Android, so a mixed group is no problem.
